Yankees - Blue Jays edge Yankees 5-4
Unfortunately, no late inning magic here as the Yankees winning streak ends at 7. The game went back and forth for a little bit until Lyle Overbay launched a home run to deep right center to give the Blue Jays a 5-4 lead that would hold up. The Yankees fall to 69-43 on the year and are now 5.5 games up on the Red Sox, who won 6-5 tonight over the Detroit Tigers. Tomorrow, Joba Chamberlain (8-2) will take the mound against Scott Richmond (6-6) as the Yankees try to get back on the winning track.
