Yankees acquire pitcher Chad Gaudin from Padres

A few moments ago, the Yankees acquired starting pitcher Chad Gaudin from the Padres for a player to be named later. Gaudin is 4-10 with a 5.13 ERA in 20 games this season. This will be Gaudin's 4th different team in the last 3 years. He played for Oakland and the Cubs in 2008 and, this past year with the Padres. This move gives the Yankees more depth at starting pitching and/or bullpen help.
