Two days ago, Mike Sillinger announced that he will be retiring from a 17 year NHL career. The two hip surgeries is the main reason for his retirement. In a 17 year career, Mike Sillinger played in 1,049 NHL games, scored 240 goals, 308 assists, for 548 career points.
